"The flag is white with a red border on three sides and the city arms centred on the cloth. The red colour shall be the same as in the Norwegian flag. However, judging by the original uploads by Eirik1231, who managed to get the file into the 71 KB range, it probably could be further improved. Anyone who wants to is welcome to give it a shot.

While the dimensions already were correct according to the sources, the colours still irked me. Starting with the red colour, it is stated to be the same red as in the Norwegian flag. That shade of red is officially given as Pantone 186 C by the Nordic Council as well as the Nordic Flag Society. As for the gold, it is a tincture that in many situations, not the least when used on flags, is rendered as yellow. Here, I used Pantone 102 C as recommended by the National Archival...
