I've just been reading about the names of Georgia. The Volapük name comes from a Russian exonym that several languages use, and it appears that Georgians don't like these names, and would prefer people to use either a western version or the autonym. I think it would be nice for the Volapük community to comply with the wishes of the Georgian nation and change their word. I would propose Sakartvelän (from the autonym "Sakartvelo") or the shorter Kartvelän (cf. the Esperanto name "Kartvelio"). Here's a page that supports what I've said: [1].
