English: Golden mural crown with 5 merlons completed by a laurel wreath of the same metal. It corresponds to the municipal formation (MF) - Urban Okrug (without inner-city divisions). The mural appearance of the crown talks about urban type of MF, and the 5 merlons (towers) - the 1st level of MF. The laurel wreath (status addition) designates the administrative center of Federal subjects of Russia. This type of crown was approved by the Heraldic Council of the President of the Russian Federation on March 24, 2005.
