Evergreen Hamlet was a planned community that was founded by William Shinn in 1851.
The house in this picture was probably built in 1852. Architect: Joseph W. Kerr (1815-1888). Kerr likely designed all four of the Evergreen Hamlet houses. Architectural style: Gothic Revival. :*Evergreen Hamlet is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Evergreen Hamlet houses are on private property, so I took the best picture that I could from Evergreen Hamlet Road (Rock Ridge Road). If anyone manages to get a nicer picture, feel free to replace this image with a better one.
