Deutsch: Der Anker weist auf die für die Gemeinde einst bedeutende Flößerei über den Main hin, die im 19. Jahrhundert ihre Blütezeit erlebte. Zugleich steht er redend für den Bestandteil Main im Ortsnamen. Das Spinnrad stellt die im Ort bis heute ansässige Textilindustrie dar. Im Jahr 1908 richtete die Kulmbacher Spinnerei eine Zweigniederlassung in Mainleus ein. Die Farben Grün und Silber sind seit vielen Jahren die Farben von Mainleus. |
