Of all the artificial languages, Volapük and Interlingua must be the two about which it is the hardest to guess that they are artificial. Unlike Interlingua, though, Volapük cannot be easily put in any of the other European groups, although it does give the impression of a European language. If i wouldn't know that it's Volapük, i'd guess that it's an isolate Indo-European language, much like Albanian or maybe a forgotten branch of Gothic which developed in a totally different direction.

So, i can't really understand a word of it, but i appreciate it.
